@Michael:

It's true that most of the traffic generated from EntreCard are non-targeted, mostly people visit for a quick drop and hardly tends to read. I have been trying the service for some time now and I feel that it's only good for start-up bloggers and blogs as it just gives a boost to the stats. Also, when others visit to drop, you get points in the form of 'ec's which you can use to display your blog at other targeted blogs. So as far as I understand, it's not really about the short visits, as surely they don't add value, but in a roundabout way they help in targeted promotion.

Do you feel that Entrecard visitors actually add value to your blog? I am not sure they do. Do the visits drop and run or do they stay and read? Have you looked at your analytic logs to see what they do? I am curious as I have been contemplating dropping them since most of my traffic comes from Google and MSN searches.

Have you given any thought on how to quantify their value?
