osCommerce: Sessions Table Has Crashed

I recently had a client call me and their website was down. osCommerce was displaying an error about the sessions table had crashed. Site down, admin down, everything was down. If your osCommerce website has the sessions table crashed error here is how I fixed the problem and it may work for you also.
- Login to phpMyAdmin (May be a direct link or through your hosting control panel)
- Select your sites database on the left side.
- Once all of the tables show up on the right side scroll down to the sessions table.
- Check the check box next to the sessions table
- Scroll down to where it says “With selected” and select “Repair table”.
That should hopefully take care of your sessions table crashed message in oscommerce, it did for my client.
